الحمد لله رب العالمين الذي بعونه تتم الصالحات

والصلاة والسلام على رسوله المصطفى الأمين وآ له وصحبه

ومن أتبعهم بإحسان إلى يوم الدين

All praises for Allah, Lord Master and Absolute Sovereign of the Universe, for only by His aid are all good deeds completed, and may the salutations of Allah and His peace and blessings be upon the Messenger Muhammad, the Trustworthy One, and upon his family and companions, and those that follow them and their way until the Day of Judgment.

اللهم صلّ على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما صليت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد وبارك على محمد وعلى آل محمد كما باركت على إبراهيم وعلى آل إبراهيم إنك حميد مجيد

O Allah may the prayer (for all good) be upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad as you have given your prayer (for all good) upon Ibraheem and the family of Ibraheem, – Verily you are Praiseworthy, Glorious. Tips on how to use Hans Wehr Arabic English Dictionary

To search an Arabic Word in this dictionary (the Hans Wehr Arabic English Dictionary) you must seek the ARABIC ROOT which is a three letter VERB, since almost all words are listed according to the root.
Remember that a two letter Arabic verb with a Shaddah on the last letter should be counted as three letters since the last letter was doubled, and note the some particles may have only two letters.
Thus, determine what kind of word is it:
Verb, Noun or Particle (Fe’l, Ism, Harf)
اسم
فعل
حرف
Then note what are the additional letters that have been added to the three letter root. The additional letters are called (حروف الزوائد) or (الحروف الزائدة)

Here you may use the conjugation charts, and the verb declinations chart, or any other useful aid in determining what are the additional letters to arrive at the Arabic root: then look for this root in the dictionary.
Page 8 of the introduction of the book is helpful
The Arabs when discussing a verb give the sequence of past, present, order, and then the verbal noun (gerund), the noun of subject then the noun of object:
past, present, order (command), gerund (noun of the verb), active particle (the noun of subject), the passive particle (the noun of object), etc:

فعل يفعل فعلا فهو فاعل ومفعول
الفعل الماضي
الفعل المضارع

المصدر
اسم الفاعل
اسم المفعول

Sometimes they would add other information like
For instance
alima to know عَلِمَ
page 363
Note the
Roman numeral two II = علّم
And then IV = أعلم
And then V =  تعلّم
And then X =   استعلم
Then the nouns, and so on and on in this Arabic root.

اللهم إن كان صوابا فمنك وحدك لا شريك لك و إن كان خطأ فمني و من الشيطان و الله و رسوله منه بريء

We ask Allah, the Most Gracious and Merciful, to accept our good deeds and forgive our misdeeds, only He, the Exalted, is al-Qareeb (the Near One) al-Mujeeb (the Acceptor).   May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon the Messenger of Allah, Muhammad, and upon his family, his companions and his followers until the Last Day,,,
